Rodney W. Wickers opened this office in 1992, with practice areas that include Business, Business

Christina M. Wickers is Rod's daughter and an associate at the office. She authored an article titled, Das
Closes the Door on Civil Liability for Financial Institutions Failure to Make Mandated Elder Abuse Report,
that was published by the California State Bar, Trusts and Estate's Quarterly, Volume 16, Issue 4.
In law school, Christina received the Witkin Award for Academic Excellence, Property I and the Community
Certificate of Distinguished Public Service. Additionally, she was on the board of directors of the Western
State College of Law (WSU), Law Review and served as their Media Editor creating a new website for the
law review (www.wsulawreview.org). Christina also served the law review as a Student Writer and
Symposium Editor.
Christina was on the WSU Negotiation Team, as well, and won second place out of twenty six teams at the
California State Bar 2012 Negotiation Competition at the University of California, Los Angeles School of
Law, beating out the UCLA and UC Hastings teams.
WSU Student Bar Association (SBA) appointed Christina Class Representative where she served for two
years. As part of her service to the SBA she also wrote an article for the WSU newspaper, The Precedent,
titled, “Ask Christina," which was an advice column that spring boarded into an advocacy platform. She
worked with WSU administration to voice student concerns and provide solutions for issues like the campus
designated smoking areas and summer scholarship awards.
She also participated in political fodder by serving as Vice President for the WSU Federalist Society.
Christina attended Loyola Marymount University and graduated from California State University Northridge
with Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, option Finance in 2007. She graduated from Western
State College of Law in 2012.
